Hello, I’m Julia, founder of Balanced Movement Pilates. I bring over 14 years of teaching experience to my studio, and I’m a certified Level 5 Romana’s Pilates Instructor.  Romana’s Pilates is the internationally recognised training program known for its rigorous standards and commitment to preserving the original method developed by Joseph Pilates.


I pursued my certification through this lineage because it upholds the integrity and depth of Joseph Pilates’ original work—something I deeply value.

I’m truly passionate about Pilates and the Classical system as a whole. I’ve experienced firsthand—and witnessed in my clients—the incredible transformations it can bring. It’s a complete, whole-body method that strengthens, stretches, and energises you from the inside out.

I believe Pilates is truly for every body—regardless of age, background, or ability. My goal is to create a supportive and challenging environment where each client can build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection to their body.
